PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • All patients must present a valid health card

  • PLEASE BRING AND WEAR YOUR OWN MASK while inside the clinic. If you have a health condition that makes it difficult to wear a mask, let staff know in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

  • You will be screened for COVID symptoms, please be kind to the staff.

  • Please be prepared to stay on the clinic for 15 minutes after receiving the shot.

We also encourage our patients to consider using the Ottawa Public Health flu vaccine clinics. These are open to any residents and are by appointment only. Please access the following website to book an appointment: https://www.ottawapublichealth.ca/en/public-health-topics/influenza-flu.aspx

Many pharmacies are also offering the regular and high-dose flu vaccines this year. Please check with your local pharmacy. If you do receive a flu vaccine from your pharmacy or at another site not affiliated with SOMC, please advise us so we can update your chart.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented flu season.
